Vitamin K 100 ml
Composition:
Each ml contains:
Vitamin K1 (Phytinadione) .......................................... 20 mg
Exp. Qs........................................................................... 1 ml
Indications:
In cattle, calves, horses, swine, sheep, goats, dogs and cats: Vitamin K1 is
indicated in coagulation disorders which are due to faulty formation of factors II,
VII, IX and X when caused by vitamin K deficiency or interference with vitamin
K activity. Vitamin K1 is indicated to counter hypoprothrombinemia induced by
ingestion of anticoagulant rodenticides and to counter hypoprothrombinemia
caused by consumption of bishydroxycoumarin found in spoiled and moidy
sweet clover.
Dosage:
Cattle, calves, horses, swine, sheep and goats: Acute hypoprothrombinemia (
with hemorrhage) and non-acute hypoprothrombinemia: 0.5-2.5mg/kg (
equicalent to 1ml/8-40 kg bw ) subcutaneously or intramuscularly.
Dogs and cats: Acute hypoprothrombinemia (with hemorrhage) and non-acute
hypoprothrombinemia: 0.25 – 5mg/kg (equicalent to 1ml/4-80 kg bw)
subcutaneously or intramuscularly. Use higher end of dose for second generation
rodenticides.
Withdrawal time: 0 days.
Storage: Store in a cool and dry place. Avoid direct sunlight.
