Description
Nutromix® Skin+Coat is a highly palatable supplement - and therefore easy to
administer - that promotes healthy hair, skin and coat, and nails. The complete
matrix of compounds present in Nutromix® Skin+Coat Coat acts effectively as an
adjuvant in animals suffering from skin conditions (allergies, dry skin, skin
irritation and itching), dull coat, excessive dog shedding and seborrhea (dry or
wet). This nutritional support is ideal for the coat -of show dogs- to achieve a
great shine and with it a competitive advantage.
Nutromix® Skin+Coat is a natural combination of fish, olive and soybean oil,
omega 3 and 6, minerals, amino acids, biotin and vitamins that promotes healthy
and resistant skin and gives hair a shiny and lustrous effect. It also promotes
normal hair shedding and supports an adequate immune system. Nourishes skin
and coat, maintaining systemic skin and coat health. It also promotes the
formation of keratin for the nails.
Features and Mechanism of Action
Vitamins
All vitamins are important for animal health and that is why any vitamin deficiency
can lead to hair loss and problems with the health and appearance of the skin, hair
and nails.
Vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of the skin under normal conditions. This
vitamin is essential for the maintenance of epithelial tissues and the skin is the
largest epithelial tissue in the body. It is essential for the support and rehydration of
the skin, thus helping to keep it smooth and healthy. Vitamin A presents - along
with vitamin E - a synergistic action in the maintenance of the skin and is, in turn,
of special importance for proper vision.
In order to use vitamin D, both hair and skin contain vitamin D receptors. The
receptor to which vitamin D binds activates hair growth, helping hair replacement
to emerge.
Vitamin E slows down the aging of the skin. Protects against cell damage caused
by oxidation of lipids. Protects from the sun, neutralizes the effects of free radicals
generated by ultraviolet rays, promoting skin regeneration. Helps keep skin soft,
supple and hydrated and accelerates healing. Promotes blood flow, improving the
supply of nutrients to the roots and hair follicle. It stimulates its growth, prevents its
fall and helps to have stronger and healthier hair. Due to its antioxidant power, it
prevents breakage or split ends in the hair. Regulates the excessive production of
fat in the sebaceous glands so that they do not generate more oil than necessary
and prevent the hair follicles from clogging. Due to its hydration capacity, it
strengthens and prevents nail growth disorders.
The B-complex vitamins maintain a healthy appetite, promote growth, food
conversion, and improve the condition of the skin and coat of dogs. They promote
the formation of red blood cells and support a healthy immune system.
Biotin (vitamin H or vitamin B7) is a key nutrient, important in epidermal tissues, in
the production of hair, skin and especially nails in dogs. It serves to synthesize fatty
acids and metabolize glucose and participates in energy metabolism (cell growth,
within the Krebs cycle).
Both vitamin C and the amino acids proline and lysine are essential for collagen to
be synthesized since the hydroxylation of the two amino acids is necessary. In this
process, vitamin C acts as a cofactor. Vitamin C also helps our defenses. It protects
the skin against the oxidation of free radical agents that cause cellular aging and
has a protective action against sun exposure. Helps stop hair loss, promoting hair
growth, more resistant and stronger.
