🩺 Indications (Uses):

Norvasc is a long-acting calcium channel blocker used to:

1. Treat Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)

   • Helps reduce risk of stroke, heart attack, and kidney problems

2. Treat Chronic Stable Angina (Chest Pain)

   • Improves exercise tolerance and reduces frequency of angina attacks

3. Treat Vasospastic Angina (Prinzmetal's angina)

   • Reduces coronary artery spasm

💊 Dosage & Administration:

• Usual adult dose:

  • 5 mg once daily

  • May be increased to 10 mg once daily depending on response

• For elderly or hepatic impairment:

  • Start with 2.5 mg, monitor response
