Falcon Asperzole 50 Tablets

Voriconazole is a relatively new triazole antifungal drug. It functions by enzymatic inhibition and blocks the synthesis of ergosterol, a constituent of the fungal membrane. It has very high bioavailability (96%) and is metabolized by cytochrome P450 in the liver. It has become the standard for care for the treatment fungal infections in humans and has proven superior to amphotericin B for the treatment of aspergillosis. Asperzole is given orally at the rate of 1 tablet per kg body weight, twice daily for 21 days (or at veterinary direction).
