Equibactin Vet Oral Paste contains a broad-spectrum antibiotic (trimethoprim sulfadiazine) and can be administered directly into the horse’s mouth for accurate dosing. Quibactin Fat oral paste can be used to treat bacterial infections in horses, including infections caused by Staphylococcus spp; Streptococcus spp; Escherichia coli & amp Rhodococcus (Corynebacterium) equi. Conditions that may be successful in treatment include respiratory tract infections such as tourniquets, pneumonia, and pleural; digestive tract infections such as diarrhea; blood poisoning; general infections and wounds.
