BURDI FIPRO for dogs

Description
Composition
100 ml of the drug contains active ingredients(g):
fipronil – 10;
excipients: polysorbate-80 – 1,0; agidol – 0,5; aloe fragrance – 1,8; octyldodecanol – 20; methanol – up to 100ml.

Application
Prophylaxis and treatment of dogs from ectoparasites: fleas(Ctenocephalus spp.), lices(Linognathus setosus), malofags in adult and larva stage(Trichodectidae),
itch mites(Dermacentor spp., Ixodes spp., Rhipicephalus spp., Sarcoptes scabiei var. canis). Prophylaxis and treatment of flea dermatitis.

Dosage
Topical. Cut the edge of the tube before application. Part the hair on the top of the back from the shoulder to the base of the tail, on the internal surface of ear auricle until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze out the contents thoroughly to apply the solution directly onto the skin. Use the drug according to doses given in the table below:

During anti-parasite treatment of big dogs, which body weight is over than 50 kg, dose of the drug should be increased - 1 ml for next 10 kg. In case of suffering from itch mites, lices, malofags, drug should be applied 2-3 times with the interval of 10-12 days. Anti-parasite treatment is provided during seasonal activity of parasites. In order to prevent ectoparasite contamination it is necessary to change or treat with proper insecticidal protectors litters and conduct regular cleaning. While treating otoacariasis ear scrab auricle and acoustic meatus must be cleaned from earwax, exudate and scrabs. Then apply by dropping 4-6 drops of the drug. For drug uniform distribution hold acoustic meatus lengthways and carefully massage its base. It is necessary to immobilize animal’s head to prevent drug's splashing. Drug's residue is rubbed on spinal column. Both ears must be treated by this drug. Killing of ixodic ticks is conducted by sheding a small drop (1 drop) directly on the parasite. In case the parasite does not drop off by itself in 30 minutes, it should be removed with pincer and killed.

Contraindications
Do not use the drug to:
-sick and exhausted animals;
-during pregnancy and lactation periods;
-for puppies under 10 weeks age;
-for dogs which weight is less than 1 kg;
-for animals which are hypersensitive to the drug ingredients.

Precautions
Prevent swallowing and contact with mucous membranes. Wash your hands with soap and warm water fater application. In case of skin or mucous membranes contact – flush the affected area well with tap water. Stroking and washing animal is fobidden for 48 hours after the drug usage. Do not let animal to lick off the drug from skin after application. In case of overdose, applying of the atropine sulfate in therapy dose and symptomatic treatment is recommended.
