Indication Bovine respiratory disease (BRD) associated with Mannheimia (Pasteurella) haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus somnus, and Mycoplasma spp., including lactating cows, where clinical experience, supported where possible by sensitivity testing of the causal organisms, indicates enrofloxacin as the drug of choice. Respiratory and enteric diseases (Pasteurellosis, Mycoplasmosis, Colibacillosis, Colisepticaemia, and Salmonellosis) and multifactorial diseases such as atrophic rhinitis, enzootic pneumonia, and metritis-mastitis-agalaxia syndrome in sows. Baytril® is effective against the following microorganisms: Mycoplasma spp., E. coli, Salmonella spp., Bordetella spp., Pasteurella spp., Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, and Staphylococcus spp.

Route of administration
Subcutaneous administration. Not more then 15 ml should be administered at one injection site. Intramuscular administration.
Not more then 10 ml should be administered at one i.m. injection site.

Dosage
A single injection of 7.5 mg enrofloxacin/kg bw (= 7.5 ml Baytril® max. 10%/100 kg bw)
