Active ingredient of the drug — Albendazol (methyl carbamate, benzimidazole derivatives). Albendazole inhibits protein (tubular) synthesis, resulting in a disturbance of nutrients entrance, intracellular transport and exchange of adenosine triphosphate and glucose. The mitochondrial reaction is reduced through inhibition fumaratereduktase, causing a decrease of glycogen and the death of the parasites from exhaustion.
